Based in Rochester, New York, Marcy’s trajectory within the real estate world began with a foundational desire to support others. Her initial academic training in psychology and human services eventually evolved into a legal focus, culminating in a paralegal degree. This background gave her an intricate, inside view of mortgage title operations and closing procedures before she eventually transitioned into establishing her own independent path.

When she launched Professional Notary Services, Marcy designed a company centered entirely on a superior consumer experience. She recognized early on that a mortgage refinancing, or a home purchase is never just a mechanical paper-signing process; it is a monumental, emotional milestone for the family sitting at the table.

Because of this unique insight, Marcy selectively collaborates with signing agents who balance flawless document knowledge with deep empathy and a proactive attitude toward resolving unexpected issues during a closing. She is quoted as saying; Being an NSA isn’t just about the mechanics of the job. It’s about providing exceptional customer service, being kind to people, and understanding the significance of the documents being signed.”

She founded the New York Notary Alliance (NYNA) to establish a unified, professional voice for everyday practitioners.

Through NYNA, Marcy spearheaded crucial advocacy work that fundamentally shaped Remote Online Notarization (RON) laws in her state. Facing massive external pressures, her organization successfully fought to preserve mandatory, protective journal requirements for digital transactions—a historic victory for consumer safety and industry standards.

Her educational reach is truly nationwide. Beyond local legislative work, she regularly shares compliance strategies through national bulletins, online training workshops, and webinars, giving independent professionals across the country the exact blueprints they need to stay safe and scale sustainably.
